Malaria Vaccine

The article which appeared in the Lancet dated 25th April this year supports the use of RTS S vaccine for the control of an alarming rise in the number of deaths among children infected with malaria in Africa. The vaccine is likely to be available before the end of this year. The author further states that even with this vaccine malaria will remain a serious problem in countries across Africa, Asia, and South America.
