Colonoscopy has now become an invaluable investigative tool for the diagnosis and treatment of early colorectal cancer. However to get the best view and making the correct diagnosis you need a very clean bowel. The US Multi-Society Task Force on Colorectal Cancer has just released new evidence-based guidelines on how to improve and perform colon cleansing before a colonoscopy.
